What we collect

When you join the waitlist we ask for three things: your first name, your email address, and the city or ZIP code you would travel from. We use the name and email to send you updates about the first season, and the city or ZIP only to work out where players are concentrated so we can pick a sensible field.

If you fill in the optional preferences form, we also store what you tell us about your experience, the days and areas that suit you, what you are interested in, and whether you would like to help organize. You can skip every one of those questions.

A mobile number is optional and is only used to text you if you tick the box asking for text updates. Ticking that box is a separate choice from joining the list, and we record it with your signup.

If you send a message through the contact page, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, and we do not run advertising on this site. We do not ask for payment details, and we do not knowingly collect information from children — the first sessions are adult pickup, and interest in future youth or family sessions is collected from the adult contact rather than from any child.

Where it is stored

Signups are stored in this website’s own database, hosted by WP Engine in the United States. The site uses Independent Analytics, which records page visits on our own server rather than sending them to a third-party advertising network.

Email you receive

Expect roughly one useful update a month while we plan, and more when there is something concrete to announce — a confirmed field, a schedule, an opening-game invitation. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list entirely.

Getting your information removed

Ask through the contact page and we will delete your signup and anything attached to it. You can also ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set a cookie if you comment or log in, and the form may set a short-lived cookie to prevent duplicate submissions.
